Our message

When people in New Hampshire become aware of how the federal budget pie is sliced up, they want to reduce wasteful Pentagon spending on obsolete Cold War and nuclear weapons and invest significant funds into programs like education, healthcare, and energy independence.

What impact will the President's proposed budget have on New Hampshire?

Download this National Priorities Project fact sheet (pdf).

New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation Presidential Primary gives citizens who want to change budget priorities a unique opportunity to shape public opinion by influencing presidential candidates and the national news media.

The Priorities campaign's Common Sense Budget Act of 2007, introduced
in Congress in March, provides not only a vision of a sensible federal budget might look like, but a real piece of legislation to advocate for.
